Beginning February 24th there will be a service of Morning Prayer in the sanctuary each Friday at 8 AM. The practice of Christians gathering for prayer morning and evening goes back to the earliest history of the church. The basic structure of Morning Prayer has been unchanged for almost 1800 years. We will hear scripture and pray the Psalms appointed for the day, offer intercessions and thanksgivings and have space for silent reflection on the texts. The service is not long (under 30 minutes). Consider adding this experience to your Lenten spiritual disciplines.
